iungo Solutions Limited (“iungo”) is a technology and data science start-up. We utilise advanced data solutions to create the connective tissue between employers, training providers, and government. Our engineering team develops EdTech, JobTech, and CareerTech products for young professionals, job changers, and the unemployed and through our partnership with UWTSD, iungo designs and delivers training for budding entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs in South Wales.
iungo is one of five Welsh start-ups recognised by Tech Nation for high growth potential in 2020. We are also a member of the Welsh Government Accelerated Growth Programme. Our pioneering learning culture was highly commended in the 2021 Rising Star 3.0 Awards.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated individual to join a socially-oriented tech start-up shortly after the launch of its first product, a mobile careers app. You will be part of a small team of software engineers driving forward product development in all areas of the product portfolio.
You will work closely with the Product and Platform teams, in addition to external development partners and consultants. You will be expected to:
During this placement, you will develop your programming and team working skills, develop knowledge of agile development, and receive one-to-one Career Coaching. Your work will directly impact the success of the organisation and its products. This is a unique opportunity in which you play a key role in building a new start-up, with exposure to all key business activities.
You will report into the Product Manager.
