Croeso i Angharad Williams!

Darogan Talent

Hi everyone! I’m Angharad, an Advertising Design graduate from Bridgend. I have a real passion for digital marketing and I am very excited to start this new journey at Darogan Talent.

Having graduated last year, I have been through the struggles of post-graduation life, and looking for work in industry during a pandemic hasn’t made life easy, to say the least… However, I can’t think of a better place to start my career than at a hub for promoting graduate jobs in Wales.

I’m a proud Welsh woman. So I have always wanted to stay in Wales after graduating, something that at first seemed challenging. Darogan Talent helps graduates like me by connecting them to great opportunities in Wales, and so I am glad to join Theo and Owain (the founders) in this venture.

Even with all the problems the pandemic has caused, I have enjoyed the time to myself – especially, like most of the world, binge-watching shows across Netflix and Disney+ like Bridgerton and WandaVision. During the few fleeting moments I wasn’t ogling a screen, I spent a lot of time improving my baking and cooking skills; although, I must admit, I am yet to master the iconic banana bread. After using Zoom quizzes to stay connected with classmates, friends and family and, dare I say, acing them, I now consider myself something of a future Chaser (I’m open to nickname suggestions – ‘The Brains of Bridgend’?).

Despite these perks of unexpected time off from the world, I am more than ready now to take this next step in my career.

Darogan Talent seeks to solve a historic issue in Wales – so I am thrilled to become a part of its small team. I also look forward to working with Darogan Talent’s amazing partners and all the good work they do.

Helo pawb! Angharad ydw i; mae gen i radd mewn Dylunio Hysbysebu ac rwy’n dod o Ben-y-bont ar Ogwr. Mae gen i angerdd gwirioneddol dros farchnata digidol ac rwy’n gyffrous iawn wrth ddechrau ar y siwrnai newydd hon gyda Darogan Talent.

Wedi graddio y llynedd, rwyf wedi bod trwy frwydrau bywyd ôl-raddedig, a dydy chwilio am waith mewn diwydiant yn ystod pandemig ddim wedi bod yn hawdd, a dweud y lleiaf ... Fodd bynnag, alla i ddim meddwl am le gwell i ddechrau fy ngyrfa na mewn hyb sy’n hyrwyddo swyddi i raddedigion yng Nghymru.

Rwy’n falch iawn o fod yn Gymraes. Felly fy nymuniad erioed oedd aros yng Nghymru ar ôl graddio, rhywbeth a oedd yn ymddangos yn heriol ar y dechrau. Mae Darogan Talent yn helpu graddedigion fel fi trwy eu cysylltu â chyfleoedd gwych yng Nghymru, ac felly rwy’n falch o gael ymuno â Theo ac Owain (y sylfaenwyr) yn y fenter hon.

Er gwaetha’r holl broblemau y mae’r pandemig wedi’u hachosi, rwyf wedi mwynhau’r amser a gefais i mi fy hun – yn enwedig, fel y rhan fwyaf o’r byd, ‘binjo’ gwylio rhaglenni ar Netflix a Disney+ fel Bridgerton a WandaVision. Yn ystod yr adegau prin hynny pan nad oeddwn yn syllu ar sgrin, treuliais lawer o amser yn gwella fy sgiliau pobi a choginio; er, rhaid cyfaddef, rwyf eto i feistroli’r bara banana eiconig. Ar ôl defnyddio cwisiau Zoom i gadw mewn cysylltiad â chyd-fyfyrwyr, ffrindiau a theulu ac, os caf i ddweud, eu curo nhw’n rhacs, rwyf bellach yn fy ystyried fy hun yn ddarpar Chaser (rwy’n agored i awgrymiadau am lysenw – ‘Pen(iog)-y-bont’?).

Er gwaethaf y manteision hyn o amser annisgwyl i ffwrdd o’r byd, rwy’n fwy na pharod bellach i gymryd y cam nesaf hwn yn fy ngyrfa.

Mae Darogan Talent yn ceisio datrys problem hanesyddol yng Nghymru – felly rwyf wrth fy modd wrth ddod yn rhan o’i dîm bach. Edrychaf ymlaen hefyd at gydweithio â phartneriaid anhygoel Darogan Talent a’r holl waith da maen nhw’n ei wneud.
