Who are we?

We are a social housing organisation, owned and run by colleagues and members whose passion is to make a positive difference to people’s lives. We are here to improve the quality of life and life chances of people living in Torfaen and neighbouring communities, with a particular focus on supporting people who face disadvantage and exclusion.

We are so much more than just a housing provider: we help to create employment and development opportunities for local people, and work in collaboration with a wide range of partners to help reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, improve health and well-being and protect the environment.

We are currently running a six-month pilot of working a 4-day week (4DW) that started on Monday 30 September.  The 4DW is based on a principle of 100 – 80 – 100: delivering 100% of the work, in 80% of the time, for 100% of salary. If you join us during the pilot you will be taking part.
