We are looking for a creative and ambitious Marketing Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and Digital Marketing Manager, your role will involve assisting in supporting the delivery of engagement and marketing activities. You will play a vital part in feeding into the implementation of our engagement strategy, ensuring that our content and campaigns are effectively aligned with company goals and objectives

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the CMO plan, develop and implement effective marketing communication campaigns in line with the strategic priorities of the organisation
  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager and CMO with the development of marketing material and online content including writing copy for website, blogs, articles, white papers, partner content, marketing collateral and e-comms.
  • Website maintenance, editing and support
  • Using website analytics to measure and improve effectiveness of website, campaigns, and user engagement
  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager with SEO / Paid media campaigns, Google analytics & reporting
  • Support development of social media content on relevant channels
  • Assist in the production of competitor analysis and reports
  • Complete market research to support the team identify new opportunities, consumer trends, and competitive insights
  • Support wider engagement activities including exhibitions, events and trade shows

Person specification

Essential:

  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with Squarespace or similar website platforms
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong project management, time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail is essential

Desirable:

  • Experience working with Google Analytics and analysing data trends
  • E-Comms experience
  • CRM experience
  • Welsh speaker
