An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and creative Product Marketing Executive to join our busy and energetic marketing department at our Head Office in Pwllheli, North Wales.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing you will take commercial and brand responsibility for a range of products and will manage the portfolio throughout the whole lifecycle, utilising the full marketing mix to drive brand awareness and sales growth among targeted customer groups.

The main elements of this role are to:

·       Take “ownership” for the successful end-to-end management of the product portfolio

·       Achieve portfolio growth and margin targets within agreed budgets

·       Manage product positioning within the market in terms of price and performance and to ensure we remain competitive

·       Drive brand awareness through the development, management and communication of marketing campaigns both online and offline

·       Work with the NPD team to manage new product launches including all associated launch collateral

·       Champion a research led approach to full category management by undertaking consumer research to understand target user groups and identify user needs

·       Work closely with the Trade Marketing Executive and Graphic Designer to deliver targeted marketing and promotional campaigns

·       Data Lifecycle Management: Lead the charge in managing the entire lifecycle of product data. This involves overseeing the collection, organization, storage, and dissemination of data across various teams and platforms.

·       Strategic Data Utilization: Explore innovative ways to leverage data to personalise the customer experience, target well-defined market segments, and get new customers.

·       Populate stock control system with relevant product information and work with sales in providing relevant information for new product line listings

·       Review and compile information on pricing & margin levels across the product categories as requested

To succeed in this role, you will need:

·       A degree or equivalent in marketing/business studies

·       Experience in brand responsibility with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making.

·       Proficiency in data analytics tools and methodologies.

·       A strong commercial understanding of wholesale and retail sales channels

·       The ability to create and implementing effective strategies

·       A creative eye and an ability to work to brand guidelines

·       The ability to work simultaneously on different projects

·       To be open minded and inventive

·       To be highly efficient and organised

·       Excellent communication and written skills

·       Good understanding of MS Office, especially Excel

 

Qualifications/Experience:

The ideal candidate will be educated in a related field with a minimum 2 years’ experience in a product marketing or product sales role, online marketing experience and/or training in this area would also be advantageous.

The overall goal of the role is to provide essential support to our efforts to grow brand awareness and distribution via a diverse range of activities, developing into an effective brand and product management professional.
