Equal Education Partners is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join one of our client partners' teams as a Recruitment Executive.

The principal purpose of this role is to recruit passionate, experienced individuals to meet the growing demand from schools for the Company’s online teaching service. You will comprehensively understand the role requirements and will manage the end-to-end safer recruitment process which will include screening applications, interviewing, setting up and taking part in interview lessons, answering candidate queries, reporting on progress, carrying out employment checks and making job offers. This will be done with speed and accuracy, and with an attention to detail and criteria that means only the best people join the team.

You will be enthusiastic and friendly with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will have the ability to multi-task effectively and prioritise your workload when under pressure. You will have great IT skills particularly in Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams, and whilst training will be provided, we need you to hit the ground running. Ideally, you will have experience in education, perhaps as a teacher or a teaching assistant and, with training, will understand what makes a good teacher.

Line managed by the Head of People, Culture and Social Responsibility, you will play a key role in ensuring that the recruitment drive is efficient and effective.

You will be team player, will roll your sleeves up and work hard in a supportive, committed, passionate team in which every member provides their individual expertise to contribute to making a difference to the lives of children and young people through education.


Hours:

  • 35 per week around the core hours of 09:30-14:30

Location:

  • Wrexham (5 days a month)
  • Work from home the rest of the time

Reporting to: Head of People, Culture and Social Responsibility

Responsibilities

  • Review applications to determine if they meet the criteria for the position
  • Interview candidates to determine if they would be a good fit for the company’s culture and needs
  • Help develop job descriptions and post job roles
  • Establishing and maintain relationships with managers, and potential candidates
  • Work closely with internal departments and provide updates on recruitment.
  • Coordinate with managers to schedule interviews
  • Conduct reference checks and background checks on applicants, including DBS
  • Manage applicant tracking
  • Onboarding new staff
  • Planning Induction for new staff
  • Maintaining updated records of recruitment activities and progress
  • Keeping up to date with employment laws and regulations KCSiE Part 3 safer recruitment
  • Updating process documents
  • Working with marketing department to ensure website vacancy page is updated

  • Excellent ICT skills, especially proficient in Office365
