Llwyddo'n Lleol

Menter Môn's Llwyddo'n Lleol project has an exciting new initiative underway.

Over a 10-week period, 10 young people from across Gwynedd and Anglesey will receive paid part-time work as marketing officers to assist local businesses. They will be supporting 20 businesses which encompass a variety of different sectors. The work will mainly consist of promotion and advertising through social media platforms and websites.

During the 10-week programme, the young marketing officerswill also receive weekly guidance and training sessions from the experienced Marketing Brand Strategist, Beth Woodhouse (MarketShed).

This unique project aims to provide businesses with marketing advice and support, whilst providing young people with valuable skills and experience. It will also highlight the various industries and job possibilities that exist in North Wales. It is an exciting programme that will see local young people and businesses come together to ensure local success!

Who are the Marketing Officers?

1.      Mali Llyfni, Penygroes – Mali has completed her third year at Cardiff University having studied History and Welsh. Mali will be supporting Ar y Trywydd and Cyfreithwyr Lloyd Evans & Hughes Solicitors with their marketing.  

2.      Sara Dylan, Bethel – Sara is a student at Cardiff University studying Journalism, Media, and Culture. Sara will be providing marketing support to Snowdonia Donkeys and Snowdon Honey Farm and Winery.

3.      Cadi Roberts, Bethesda – Cadi is currently studying a Welsh degree at Bangor University and will be working with a local business in Arfon.

4.      Sion Owen, Pwllheli – Sion is a Bangor University student and is currently in his second year studying a Business and Marketing degree. Sion will be working with three businesses in the Llyn Peninsula, Euros Hughes Electrical Contractor, EcoAmgueddfa and Taldraeth.

5.      Jodie Thomas, Abererch – Jodie is the owner of her own small business called Charismatic Cat. She is looking to use hermarketing skills to help two local businesses, Hen Siop y Crydd and ShedNeigwl.

6.      Lois Eckley, Porthmadog – Lois is currently studying a degree in Education and Psychology t Cardiff Metropolitan University. She will be working with two local businesses.

7.      Marged Price, Dolgellau – Marged is studying a Marketing degree at Aberystwyth University, and will be using her skills to assist Sign Creation and Y Hwb.

8.      Ffion Evans-Humphreys, Pennal – Ffion works fulltime for Welsh Government but will be using this opportunity to develop her marketing skills by working with a local business, Geufron Farm.

9.      Josh Jones, Llangefni – Having completed his third year at Bangor University studying Businesses Studies, Josh will be working with two businesses on Anglesey, Celtic Wellbeing a Llefrith Nant.

10.  Gwenno Pritchard, Beaumaris – Gwenno is currently studying at Bangor University and will providing marketing assistance to three businesses on Anglesey, Sea Kayaking Wales, DEWIS Architecture and Iorwerth Arms.

Mae cynllun newydd gan Llwyddo’n Lleol 2050 wedi cychwyn. Mae Llwyddo’n Lleol, un o gynlluniau Menter Mon, wedi lansio prosiect newyddsydd yn cefnogi pobl ifanc a busnesau o fewn y byd marchnata.

Dros gyfnod o 10 wythnos bydd 10 berson ifanc ar draws Gwynedd a Môn yn derbyn gwaith rhan-amser cyflogedig fel swyddogion marchnata,ynghyd a hyfforddiant gan y Strategydd Brand Marchnata Beth Woodhouse (MarketShed). Fel rhan o’r cynllun bydd 20 o fusnesau ar draws y ddwy sir yn derbyn cymorth marchnata gan berson ifanc lleol. Mae’r busnesau hyn yn amrywiol iawn ar ran eu sectorau gyda rhai yn ymwneud a; bwyd a diod, lletygarwch, pensaernïaeth, y gyfraith a gweithgareddau anturus.

Nod y prosiect unigryw hwn yw rhoi cyngor a chefnogaeth farchnata i fusnesau, wrth hefyd darparu sgiliau a phrofiad gwerthfawr i boblifanc. Bydd hefyd yn tynnu sylw at y gwahanol ddiwydiannau a phosibiliadau swyddi sy'n bodoli yng Ngogledd Cymru. Mae'n rhaglen gyffrous a fydd yn gweld pobl ifanc a busnesau lleol yn dod at ei gilydd i sicrhau llwyddiant lleol!

Pwy yw’r Swyddogion Stori?

1.      Mali Llyfni, Penygroes – Mae Mali yn gorffen eithrydedd flwyddyn ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd wedi bod yn astudio Hanes a Cymraeg. Bydd Mali yn cefnogi busnesau Ar y Trywydd a Cyfreithwyr Lloyd Evans & Hughes.

2.      Sara Dylan, Bethel – Mae Sara yn fyfyriwr ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd ac yn astudio Newyddiaduraeth, y Cyfryngau a Diwylliant. Bydd Sara yn darparu cefnogaeth marchnata i fusnesau Snowdonia Donkeys a FfermFêl yr Wyddfa.

3.      Cadi Roberts, Bethesda – Mae Cadi yn fyfyriwr ym Mhrifysgol Bangor a bydd yn gweithio gyda busnes lleol o Arfon.

4.      Sion Owen, Pwllheli – Mae Sion yn fyfyriwr ym Mhrifysgol Bangor, yn ei ail flwyddyn yn astudio gradd Busnes a Marchnata. Fydd Sion yn gweithio a tri busnes o Ben Llyn, Euros Hughes Electrical Contractor, EcoAmgueddfa a Taldraeth.

5.      Jodie Thomas, Abererch – Mae Jodie yn berchen ar fusnes bach ei hun o’r enw Charismatic Cat. Mae’n edrych ymlaen defnyddio eisgiliau marchnata i helpu dau fusnes lleol, Hen Siop y Crydd a Shed Neigwl

6.      Lois Eckley, Porthmadog – Mae Lois yn fyfyriwr ym Mhrifysgol MET Caerdydd yn astudio Addysg a Seicoleg. Bydd hi’n gweithio addau fusnes lleol.

7.      Marged Price, Dolgellau - Mae Marged yn astudio Marchnata ym Mhrifysgol Aberystwyth, bydd hi’n defnyddio ei sgiliau i weithio efo Sign Creation a Y Hwb, Bala.

8.      Ffion Evans-Humphreys, Pennal - Mae Ffion yn gweithio yn llawn amser i Lywodraeth Cymru ond yn defnyddio'r cyfle yma i ddatblygu ei sgiliau marchnata a gweithio efo fusnes lleol, Geufron Farm.

9.      Josh Jones, Llangefni - Wedi cwblhau ei drydedd flwyddyn yn astudio Astudiaethau Busnes ym Mhrifysgol Bangor, bydd Josh yn gweithio efo dau fusnes o Ynys Môn, Celtic Wellbeing a Llefrith Nant.

10.  Gwenno Pritchard, Biwmares - Mae Gwenno yn fyfyriwr ym Mhrifysgol Bangor a bydd hi’n darparu cymorth marchnata i dri busnes Sea Kayaking Wales, DEWIS Architecture ac Iorwerth Arms gyd wedi’u leoli yn Ynys Môn.
