This unique platform also allows you to connect and share best practice with other graduates, which we hope will lead to an exciting exchange of ideas and even collaboration on projects and start-ups.

Here’s a step-by-step guide for each of the sections you will need to complete in order to become a member.
Name – We will need your real name, not a username or any nicknames you may have.
University – Let everyone know which university you have attended or are currently attending. If you have been to multiple universities, pick one, and feel free to let people know where else you have studied in the ‘Tell us a bit about yourself’ section.
Field of study -This section enables you to enter what subject you studied. Again, you can give more detail in the ‘Tell us a bit about yourself section’ if you have studied a variety of graduate courses over the years.
Year of graduation – Simply input the year you expect to graduate, or have already done so. This will help give people a sense of what stage of life you are at, and what sort of opportunities you may be interested in.
Phone number – This is completely optional, but including this may allow employers and other members to get in touch easier.
Tell us a bit about yourself – Here you can tell everyone about who you are. Let us know where you have studied, your subjects and your achievements. We also want to know where you are now, and where you would like to be regarding the sort of opportunities you are interested in. This space is yours to express yourself. And of course, please let us know if you would like correspondence in Welsh.
Skills – Here you can be specific. Let graduate and employer members know what skills you have developed over the years. These may include researching, public speaking, photo editing, coding, playing an instrument or anything else you feel that makes you stand out.
Work experience – If you have any work experience, here’s the place to note it, whether it’s an internship, part-time or full-time role, it’s all relevant! Work experience is essential to show your commitment to the career path you want to take, so if you’re lacking in this area, then please get in touch and we’ll see what opportunities we can introduce you to with our Employer partners and other leading businesses in Wales.
Social media handles – We know that many of you have social media profiles which you use for professional purposes, and so we wanted to give you the option to sign-post to these. You now have the option to add links to your LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook profiles by simply copying the URL to the relevant box.
Upload profile photo – This category is optional too, but it’s always nice to put a face to a name! Please be mindful that this is a careers networking forum for you to engage with potential employers and business partners, so we advise against any holiday or beach shots!
Open to opportunities? – You can click this option if you are currently looking for graduate opportunities. This will let our employer members, or even other graduate members, know that you might be interested in speaking with them about any opportunities they might have to offer. Of course, if your situation changes after your profile is completed, you can turn this on or off whenever you like.

Make sure that your profile gives enough information about who you are and what skills you have to offer. Employers and our other members will want to get to know the real you, so giving plenty of relevant details will be an effective way of encouraging people to engage with you.

At the same time, while you should include plenty of information on your profile, do not include unnecessary or overly personal detail. This is a careers’ profile, so treat it as professionally as possible.
Your profile doesn’t need to include your full CV - it’s more of an overview, so it’s better to keep things to the point. If an employer or graduate member wants to know more about you, they will get in touch, and you will then have the opportunity to send them your CV or further info.
And most importantly: Don’t be shy!

Profiad gwaith – Os oes gennych unrhyw brofiad gwaith, dyma’r lle i sôn amdano, p’un ai’n interniaeth, rôl ran-amser neu lawn amser, mae’r cwbl yn berthnasol. Gwnewch yn siŵr bod eich proffil yn rhoi digon o wybodaeth amdanoch chi a pha sgiliau sydd gennych i’w cynnig. Bydd cyflogwyr ac aelodau eraill eisiau dod i adnabod y chi ‘go iawn’, felly bydd rhoi digon o fanylion priodol yn ffordd effeithiol i annog eraill i gysylltu â chi.
… Ond cadwch i’r pwynt!
Ar yr un pryd, er bod eisiau ichi gynnwys digon o wybodaeth ar eich proffil, peidiwch â chynnwys manylion diangen neu or-bersonol. Proffil gyrfaol yw hwn, felly ceisiwch ei drin mor broffesiynol â phosib.
Does dim angen i’ch proffil gynnwys eich CV cyfan – mae’n fwy o drosolwg, ac felly mae’n well cadw pethau’n gryno. Os bydd cyflogwr neu aelod graddedig eisiau gwybod mwy amdanoch chi, byddant yn cysylltu, ac wedyn fe gewch chi gyfle i anfon eich CV a gwybodaeth pellach iddynt.
Ac yn bwysicaf oll: Peidiwch â bod yn swil!
Ein nod yw adeiladu rhwydwaith o raddedigion disglair, uchelgeisiol sydd eisiau gweithio yng Nghymru. Ond bydd hyn ond yn gweithio os bydd ein aelodau yn cysylltu â’i gilydd a dechrau’r trafodaethau cyffrous yna!
