We are an education charity which promotes the public benefit of further education in Wales. We believe that all learners have the right to world-class education, delivered in a safe, diverse and inclusive setting and within a sector which supports the wider community, employers and the economy.
We also convene the Further Education Principals’ Forum, which represents the interests of further education (FE) providers.
We undertake research and policy development and provide practical support to the FE community. Working closely with Welsh Government, their agencies, and other stakeholders, we help shape policies affecting the FE sector, their learners and staff.
CollegesWales is the first point of contact for further education in Wales.
Elusen addysg sy'n hyrwyddo budd cyhoeddus addysg bellach yng Nghymru yw ColegauCymru. Credwn fod gan bob dysgwr yr hawl i addysg o safon fyd-eang, a ddarperir mewn lleoliad diogel, amrywiol a chynhwysol ac o fewn sector sy'n cefnogi'r gymuned ehangach, cyflogwyr a'r economi.
Rydym hefyd yn cynnull y Fforwm Prif weithredwyr Addysg Bellach, sy’n cynrychioli buddiannau darparwyr addysg bellach.
Rydym yn ymgymryd ag ymchwil a datblygu polisi ac yn darparu cefnogaeth ymarferol i'r gymuned addysg bellach. Gan weithio'n agos gyda Llywodraeth Cymru, eu hasiantaethau, a rhanddeiliaid eraill, rydym yn helpu i lunio polisïau sy'n effeithio ar y sector AB, eu dysgwyr a'u staff.
